as a medial case worker in a psychologists office in Dallas, Amanda is 24, lives in Nashville and is married to a former Aggie football player who now plays for the Tennessee Titans, Kevin Matthews.  Amanda’s twin brother John is graduating from Texas State (finally!) in May.  John interned on an offshore oil production platform in the Gulf last summer.  

Walter graduated from a small state university in Austin, got married two weeks later, and started his first job in Tulsa with Central Telephone two weeks after his wedding.  Walter and Cindy lived in four states over the the next 19 years while working for Central Telephone.  All three kids were born n New Orleans, but most of the time was spent in Sugar Land from 1988 to 2006.

Walter joined Nextel Communications and as the Area President, was responsible for the build out and launch of the new digital cellular system in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin/San Antonio, Houston and the connecting corridors.  He later worked in the cell tower construction industry and was responsible for a 10 state area for a national tower company.

Walter is a member of the Bryan-College Station Apartment Association, a member of the Bryan Rotary Club, is active with his alumni organization (yes, there is a chapter in the Brazos Valley) and enjoys taking short trips with Cindy on their Honda Goldwing Motorcycle.

Walter Hinkle- Chief Financial Officer

Walter is the President and co-owner of Bryan 800 Answering Service.  He has worked in the answering service here in Bryan for the last year and a half, and has been commuting to and from Dallas most weekends.  

He sold his home in Dallas at the end of January and moved to Bryan full time.  Walter also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Lockard & White.

Walter is married to Cindy and they will celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary this August.  They have three adult children, Jessica, 27, works
